We believe no student should have to search through countless WhatsApp groups just to find a hostel, buy a fairly used laptop, access past questions, get campus updates, discover job opportunities or find a ride to Yenagoa. Everything should be accessible from one reliable platform — and that is exactly why FUO Connects exists.

The idea behind FUO Connects was born from a simple observation. Students spent hours moving between different group chats for different needs. One group for hostels, another for buying and selling, another for academic materials, another for transport, another for jobs, and yet another for campus updates.
Important information was scattered everywhere, difficult to verify, and almost impossible to find when it was needed. We knew the FUO community deserved something better.
So we built a centralised platform where students can easily discover opportunities, access trusted information, connect with one another, and enjoy services designed specifically for life at Federal University Otuoke.

Adverts and services cover most of what this costs to run, but not all of it. If the platform has been useful to you and you would like to help keep it free for everyone, any amount goes straight into hosting, data and the people writing.
